The nagging in my Spirit!!!!

Hey, this may sound crazy… but whoever reads this, please help me pray for the people in my office. I just feel like God put me here for a reason. I’ve not known most of these people for very long at all, but I can tell for some reason that God wanted me here and put some of these people in my life for me to shine for Him to them. Am I making sense? As I was sitting here one day, God spoke to me and told me that if I would just stay true to my beliefs and be myself, He would use me to reach some of these ladies. I’ve seen some potential in some of them like they want to change. Matter of fact, one came to me yesterday and was talking to me about our church and she told me that she wanted to start visiting there with us next weekend. She’s going to church somewhere now, but she just don’t feel like she fits in. She wants to get into a Pentecostal church where she feels like she connects to the people as well as God. So, just pray for her that she will find where God wants her and what He has for her spiritually. There's power in prayer!!! Some of them are trying to live the right way, but have some beliefs that are a little far-fetched. But in time, God can deal with them as they grow in Him; which, by the way, I am praying about!!! I know God has His hand on these ladies, and it just takes some witnessing and a little nudge from God to help them realize it. "God, I pray right now that you would use me to be a light to my co-workers and that you would use me to witness to them for you. I want to be a light in the dark place for you. Help me, show me, and guide me daily. Amen!"

Change in plans.... a new begining!

I just started a new job about 2 weeks ago. God has really blessed me with such a great atmosphere to work in! I have some really great Christian friends surrounding me. The job I was at before this one was just so boring... everyday routine... all the same. I felt like a little monkey at the zoo. Anyone who's ever worked in banking will understand what I mean. You have to stand in a cubicle area the size of a shoebox (not really, but it seems that way!) But the main thing that got me, was you only say three main quotes to every customer. "Hey, how are you?" "Is that all for you?" "Thanks, have a good day!" Wow! So much fun, huh?!! Yeah, don't lie! You know you would hate it too. Anyway, the job I have now is so much fun. All I do is answer the phone when it rings, transfer the call, and hang up. That's my main job! I also do stuff here and there for my co-workers as they need me. Did I mention that I love my new job???? Well, I do!!! "Thank you God for giving me such a wonderful new begining!!"
